Meadowbrook Open Golf Tournament: Hay Ryder Cup

Join us for The Hay Ryder Cup golf tournament! Play this 18 hole par-three countryside golf course. The holes are 3 feet wide and everyone has a chance for a hole-in-one. After play, enjoy dinner at the 19th hole.

The Meadowbrook Golf Tournament Tour showcases farms in eastern Montgomery County each year. Initially hosted by the late state Sen. Madison E. Marye at his farm in Elliston for several years, the golf tournament captures the spirit of countryside golf through its unique history and by maintaining its continued involvement to the mission of Eastmont Community Foundation to enhance the quality of life in eastern Montgomery County and connecting others in the community.

A Key Fundraiser

Casino Night is an important fundraiser for the Eastmont Community Foundation. While the gaming is all for show, the real winner will be the Eastmont Community Foundation — and eastern Montgomery County.

Casino Night features authentic blackjack, roulette, poker and craps tables, horse-racing, slot machines, and a live DJ from Creative Entertainment of Roanoke. While the gaming is for show, the real winner is Eastmont Community Foundation. Since 2004, Casino Night has raised funds for the Meadowbrook Center which features the Waldron Fitness Center, the Meadowbrook Public Library, a community center, a recreation room, Old Town Fields and a museum. It also has facilitated the renovation of the Old Elliston Fire House into a food pantry and thrift shop. ECF also awards scholarships to local high school students and grants to local nonprofits.
