We Appreciate Your Support

Much has been accomplished, and we owe that to your generous support! Some recent highlights include three treadmills, two recumbent bikes, a pull-up machine and a dip bar that have been newly installed at the “W.” The facilities there have been freshened with new lively paint. Our cycle room has been moved to the recreation area allowing for a new HIIT room and Studio B is again available for group exercise. A new 10-burner gas range and ice machine has been installed in the Meadowbrook Center commercial kitchen. The Old Town Fields complex has been spruced up for use by the middle school and community with improved grounds maintenance. A new concrete dance area has been installed there for those who love to dance at our summer concerts. And, last year alone, the foundation awarded more than $14,000 in scholarships and grants for education and improvements in our community.

There’s More to Do

We look forward to expanding these programs and having an even greater impact on our area of the county. There still is much that needs to be done! We would like to purchase additional treadmills and continue to improve equipment for the Waldron Fitness Center. The concession stand at the Old Town Fields complex needs a new roof. We have a long list of maintenance, repairs and improvements for the Meadowbrook Center. The Old Town Fields complex will always need mowing and the Eastmont Thrift Shop needs new and appropriate signage. We have quite a wish list, and you can look it over in person at the Waldron front desk or view the list on our Facebook page.

The foundation does not receive operational support from any governmental organization. It depends on charitable contributions to make its programs possible. Please know that if you are considering donating to us, your gift will stay here in eastern Montgomery County. While economic times have improved, things are still tight for many of our neighbors. Every dollar raised is directly invested in serving the local community.

Whether through volunteerism or donations, your ongoing support is greatly appreciated. Gifts can be made online via credit card, debit card or PayPal, or by mailing a check to:
